Sisterhood
When you join a sorority at USD, you are stepping into a sisterhood experience like no other, where you are welcomed into the true value of life-long friendship. This experience is shaped by empowering women who grow with you and stand beside you for a lifetime. Sisterhood extends beyond one's own chapter, as we all become sisters in the Panhellenic community. Once you join this sisterhood, it is yours forever.
Academic Excellence
Within Greek life, we aim to create an environment that respects, supports, and celebrates academic excellence by making our education a priority. Together, we maintain a higher GPA than the all-undergraduate average while upholding the academic integrity pledge. We come from all different majors and support each other in academic endeavors in college, as well as in our future careers.
Social Justice & Selfless Service
The opportunity to give is the most rewarding experience in a Greek community. We gain a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction from working together to help others. By striving to raise awareness of social issues throughout our community, we make selfless service a part of the way we live. Each chapter has their own philanthropic causes to which we strive to support all year round though volunteer work, events, and initiatives. In the Spring semester, we hold a Fraternity & Sorority Life wide event called Greek Week, where we come together to raise funds and awareness for varying causes, this past year being the Firefighter Aid Foundation.
